Life-threatening emergencies
Dial 999 immediately. This includes chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, breathing difficulties, severe allergic reactions, or unconsciousness.
Urgent but non-life-threatening
Phone NHS 111 — free, 24/7. They will assess your symptoms and direct you to the right service: pharmacy, out-of-hours GP, A&E, or self-care advice.
